Here at the Falcon, we ensure service users have enjoyable things to do to keep them engaged in positive activities and help them reach independence. We spent a day cooking, laughing with each other and eating delicious food in our Queens Road Garden.
We take pride in knowing we go above and beyond for our service users by not only supporting them with housing, but also with mental health. We offer services like group meetings and one on one talks to make sure service users feel comfortable to share their struggles and successes.
The Health and Wellbeing team spend time with the service users doing various activities with them. Last week we had a barbeque, giving service users a chance to get out, enjoy the sun and connect with people. However, service users also get to go to the farm, play golf and get involved in activities like singing and drawing.
Falcon offers services like housing, recovery and community support to assist vulnerable people in developing life and social skills necessary for their futures. We have 114 occupied beds and have cooked over 25,000 meals for the homeless and those in need last year. At Falcon we believe in second chances and will not give up on people who need our support.
We provide services which reduce social isolation, whilst also improving health and wellbeing. For example, Leicestershire day centre where anyone struggling can connect with people for support. Everyone deserves a safe and secure place to sleep at night, which is why we offer different types of accommodation to ensure you do not have to spend the night on the street.
If you, or someone you know is struggling don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here for you too. To get support, or learn more about what we offer click https://www.falconsupportservices.org.uk/services
