Falcon Support Services joined Leicester CEO sleepout

Over £25,000 raised in one night- and an even greater impact made through powerful stories, shared experiences and community action.

Falcon Support Services was proud to take part in the recent CEO Sleepout UK in Leicester, hosted at Mattioli Woods. The event brought together business leaders, charities, and supporters, all committed to raising awareness of homelessness and supporting those affected.

Sharing Stories That Matter

A powerful part of the evening came from individuals who shared their lived experience of homelessness. Darren, Steven and John spoke openly about the challenges they have faced and their journeys towards recovery supported by Falcon Support Services. We are also proud to have trustees within our organisation who bring lived experience, using their personal journeys to inspire others and challenge perceptions.

Their stories were both moving and inspiring, highlighting not only the realities of homelessness, but also the importance of support, opportunity and belief in change. Alongside them, our dedicated team members Carmel Martin and Hollie Walker helped make the night so meaningful.

A Collective Effort to Make a Difference

A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part on behalf of Falcon Support Services: Andrew Horner-Glister, Andrew Richardson, Charlotte Ryan, Giancarlo Onorati, Marc Rowley, Nick Megson and Tara Bailiss.

Together with others at the event, their efforts contributed to raising over £25,000 to support vital services and addressing homelessness.

It was also a privilege to come together with local charities including Helping Hands Community Trust, Charity Link and The Bridge- all united in supporting those experiencing homelessness.

We were also delighted to receive a special visit from Tom Scott, chairman of Leicester Tigers and to be joined by the Leicester Tigers Women’s Team who took part in the sleepout!

Community and Business Working Together

The event highlighted the important role businesses play in supporting their communities. We were grateful for the support shown by organisations including: Abacus Flooring Solutions Limited, Nzime Ltd, Hybrid AV, H.I.T Leadership Training, Kai-zen: Change for Good and Leicester Tigers Foundation.

Together, this collective effort demonstrated what can be achieved when organisations unite behind a shared purpose.
