Shepshed firm BOAL Extrusion have encouraged all their staff to take part in a 35 hour charity cycle challenge over several days to raise funds for Falcon Support Services.
They need your support to help them raise their target.
Overall they hope to raise vital funds to help us Give The Gift of Home this Christmas.

The Shepshed-based aluminium extrusion plant is a long-time supporter of our charity, marking three years in partnership with us this year. The managing director Emma Swann is celebrating her 50th birthday this year and decided to do 50 miles to celebrate and raise funds for the great cause.
And now the entire 150 strong staff are getting behind the latest challenge for the Dutch firm, which has offices based in the Junction 23 Industrial Park.
The whole organisation is putting one foot forward as they all push the pedals to bring in well needed pounds to help Falcon Support Services continue their vital work this Christmas. The aim is to put Falcon Support Service’s Festive Falcon campaign – Give The Gift of Home in the spotlight.

Emma and Simon Atkin explained the big push behind the challenge as they pedalled.
Emma said: “It is our 35 year anniversary so we wanted to do 35 miles in aid of Falcon Support Services. We started at 4am on Monday morning and we’ve been cycling all week.
"Additionally, over the year I set out to run 50 miles for the charity to celebrate a milestone birthday instead of asking for gifts. The charity is very important to me.
"We came across Falcon Support Services three years ago when I saw Prince William’s documentary on homelessness.
"Homelessness is a problem that is increasing. As it gets colder we want to help as many people get off the streets as possible.
"From the moment we visited, they showed us the facilities and the different ways to support and we couldn’t help but get involved it is such a good cause.”
Simon said: “All of our staff have really put their weight behind the campaign. We started the challenge at 4am and we had a leaderboard. All the staff are getting competitive. Everyone has taken part across the company to celebrate 35 years in business. This has been a huge success and a pleasure to organise.”

Thank you to BOAL Extrusion who have already raised an amazing £160, which will provide a festive bed along with full support and Christmas day food and present for two people!
