It's 25 years since Wheatus brought us teenage dirtbag, Eminem was the slim shady, and Britney did it again, but all this nostalgia was alive at the 25th birthday bash of our business champion NZime at the weekend.
At the event, which took place at NZime HQ in Nottingham, attendees wore fancy dress as a tribute to the late nineties, early noughties. It is 25 years this year since the company was first set up by Andrew Horner-Glister, the founder of Nzime.
He said: “We are proud this year to have reached a significant milestone of 25 years in business and welcome our friends and supporters to celebrate with us.”
CEO Marie Davies, Deputy CEO of Falcon Support Services Rachel Hall and Head of Fundraising and Communications Lee Hardy attended the event.
Lee said: “We had a great time and felt honoured to celebrate such an important milestone as they celebrate a quarter of a century in business. We have worked closely with them for a number of years and look forward to working with them for many more years to come".
NZime is a valued Business Champion, who has helped Falcon Support Services with its website and marketing materials, and continues to support Falcon in many ways.
One of the benefits of becoming a business champion is access to our large networks and the chance to engage with other champions, and we have over 100 staff who feed into a large network. As a business champion you can attend the quarterly Falcon net networking group, and you also get free tickets to the Falcon Fest which helps raise vital funds for charity. We also offer discounted training, emergency first aid at work, and more.
As a business champion you’ll get access to a dedicated partnership manager and will receive a logo which you can put on your website, as well as a certificate if you pledge £100 a month. By giving £100, your business can help provide people with essential items to move into supported accommodation. This is ideal for companies with between 1-10 employees.
Donating £250 per month, provides healthy nutritional food for a month for a whole project, for companies that employ up to 50 people. In return for your support, we will also write a news release about your company which will appear on our website, announcing the new partnership, and have the chance to attend a multitude of events we organise.
A gift of £500 a month helps people move from crisis to accommodation and is ideal for companies 50 and above and you get a range of benefits including volunteering opportunities and team away days.
