Furnley House Summer Ball

Excellent food, a live auction, a fire dancer and a live band were the order of the evening, with over 200 members of local business and charity representatives coming together on what was to be a fantastic night.

Back in November Falcon Support Services became the Leicester Community Champion Awards Charity of the Year, awarded by the Furnley House Foundation.

This means that at this years Summer Ball held at Winstanley House, we were the headline charity.

Through silent auctions, a live auction and donations on the night, an amazing £40,000 was raised which will now be split between the 5 charities that attended.

"We were thrilled to be chosen as the charity of the year and to continue to get the support from Furnley House is making a huge difference to our Charity" said Rachel Hall, Dep CEO at Falcon.

A clear message was sent out on the night - that homelessness is a very important and serious issue that can happen to anyone. We all need to pull together to support the most isolated people in our community.
