The Role
  • Meet and greet service users at the door, managing the entry and exit door to the Drop-In using a buzzer/intercom system
  • Taking phone calls, recording and passing on messages, and transferring calls to appropriate projects
Cover required
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays between 09:00 - 14:00 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Taking and recording temperatures and service user details on entry
  • Distributing food parcels
  • Making coffees and teas for service users
  • Cleaning Drop-in area regularly; wiping down all touchpoints, worktops, and tables
  • Helping to sort donations as and when required
  • And any other ad hoc duties that arise
Person Specification:
  • Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Be courteous and personable when dealing with the staff, service users, and the general public
  • Be self-directed, willing to take initiative
  • Respect and maintain the confidentiality of Falcon Support Services volunteers, partners, and Service Users
