Where you are today does not define your tomorrow’ is a statement that not only captures the journey of our service users but also that of Falcon Support Services.  I have worked for the Charity since completing my undergraduate degree, as a mature student, in 2004.  At the time I had aspirations of working with disadvantaged young people and helping them on their way to being fully rounded adults who engage and contribute to society and their communities.  Finding a job, albeit a part time job, in my home town of Loughborough doing just that felt like a lottery win to me.  Some 14 years later I am still here, and I still feel privileged every day to do my job but I now definitely work full time.  The Charity has changed, adapted and grown to a point that it has become almost unrecognisable in the last 6 or 7 years.  Many reasons for these changes have been forced upon us by austerity measures and changes in local authority procurement requirements.  These changes have been difficult but by working together as a strong team and always having our service users interests at the heart of everything we embark on we have been able to increase the number of vulnerable people we support from approximately 50 per year in 2004 to over 400 in 2017.


Deputy CEO – Rachel Hall

I have over 13 years’ experience of working within the voluntary sector in housing, homelessness and supporting vulnerable people. I have a proven track record of managing, developing and delivering high quality service delivery with a developing staff team, to vulnerable people in the community. I am a driven, dedicated and self-motivated individual that can identify gaps in service delivery and opportunities for further development. I am keen to learn from good working practices and explore innovative and creative solutions to enable the organisation to achieve its vision and objectives, helping the charity through upcoming organisational change internally and in the context of external factors within the non-profit sector.

Finance Manager – Jane Fele

I have worked for Falcon Support Services for 12 years and have been in my post – Finance Manager for 5 years.  At present my main duty is to produce 1.2M budget in order for Falcon Support Services to deliver homeless services to vulnerable people in Loughborough and county areas. I am a highly dedicated worker who has pride in my work.  I am a starter and finisher who completes all accountancy monthly processes i.e. Financial Accounts, Trustees Management Accounts, Managers’ Budget Accounts.  Completing these monthly processes helps the Trustees and Management team to solve immediate problems which occurs with the charity finances.  I have past experience in dealing with large grants.  The grants are treated as restricted funds and only accessed on relevant expenditure for the designated grant.  Yearly expenditure reports are always available on request.
