About us Meet our team Our Trustees Robert Sharp - Chair of Trustee Board I have recently retired after 30 years as a Senior Manager and Management Consultant in the Utility Sector. Leading seven Service Centres across the UK and India, with over 3000 staff, I have experience of customer service, budgets and outsourcing. The skills and experiences acquired in my career have helped me develop my interest in the local community and I have been both a Borough and County Councillor as well as serving as a Governor at two local schools. I am committed to supporting Falcon Support Services in bringing invaluable services to vulnerable people. Dr Jane Gray OBE – Trustee Member I have over 41 years’ experience in delivering NHS related healthcare to those who need nursing services. However, as a cofounder of the social enterprise Inclusion Healthcare, I have a passion to serve homeless and the most vulnerable socially excluded people in our society and have been doing this since 2001 both formally and informally. As a Trustee and Chairperson of the Board at Falcon Support Services, I am absolutely committed to do all I can to develop sensitive and appropriate services to those who are vulnerable and homeless and need the support of specialist services. Dr Peter Cannon – Trustee Member Dr Peter Cannon has been a GP in Loughborough for over 20 years. He is a GP specialist in Substance Misuse management and also has a longstanding interest in homelessness. He is a Board member of the West Leicestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and is the GP Clinical Lead for Mental Health. Dr Cannon has worked with the Falcon Centre in Loughborough for many years and became a trustee in 2017. He believes passionately in the organisation’s work and ambition to improve the health and wellbeing of those confronted with the toxic triad of mental ill-health, substance misuse and homelessness. Andy Cereseto - Trustee Member Now retired, I previously made a career in capital goods direct sales and management, and later, in marketing and systems implementation with multi-nationals. Afterwards, being self-employed, tasks included customer care audits, business ‘change’ projects, procurement, and ‘expert witness’ support. Over the last few years I have worked as a volunteer and trustee with Futures Unlocked, a charity supporting those who leave prison, and subsequently as a volunteer with the Youth Offending Service and Leicester Probation with a Commendation from the Butler Trust. Apart from my involvement with Restorative Justice as a qualified facilitator, more recently much time has been spent as a trustee of Falcon Support Services supporting vulnerable and homeless in the community. Pete Dadswell – Trustee Member I have had a varied career with over 28 years in the international Oil & Gas industry. As a qualified Petroleum Geologist, I started as a field engineer before progressing through technical training, operations management, product development and product line management. The latter half of my career in the Oil & Gas covered various roles in Technical Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Account Management. More recently I have worked as Tender Manager for a Governance, Risk and Compliance software company, and as a business consultant for European funding initiatives. Currently I am working as the Technical Sales manager for a thermal management company. As a Trustee at Falcon Support Services, I am committed to supporting the organisation provide appropriate services to those who are vulnerable and homeless, and need the support of specialist services. Graham Hunt - Trustee Member I have recently taken early retirement after 40 years as a Manager and Senior Business Analyst in the Energy Sector. Managing several financially driven teams in the Billing, Payments and Credit Management area, I have extensive experience in understanding the needs of individuals and the day to day difficulties and competing demands they are faced with. Recent experience, includes taking a lead role in the successful separation into two legal entities for a new flotation as well as the integration of two systems to not only realise significant cost savings and streamline the customer service offered. I recently returned from a 16 month assignment to our Italian subsidiary, which gave me a great insight to another countries culture and values. I have experience of budgeting and the production of all the usual financial statements. Qualified as a Company Secretary, I have an MBA in Business which is helped me to evaluate a Process or an Operation Objectively to realise a desired benefit or saving. The skills and experiences acquired in my career have helped me develop my interest in the public and particularly the local community. I am thus absolutely committed to supporting Falcon Support Services in delivering a 'cost effective' process that comprises a wide range of support, 'individually tailored' to ensure that individual is given every opportunity to succeed in making a better life for themselves going forward. Alicia Butterfield - Trustee Member I’ve worked for various UK Universities since 2008, travelling to regions in Africa to attract candidates to study in the UK. I joined Loughborough University in 2013, recruiting students initially from Nigeria and Ghana, and over the years expanding Loughborough’s reputation into Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Southern Africa. I also held responsibility for recruitment in the Gulf and Turkey for three years. My role as Regional Manager involves marketing, operations and project management, and the most rewarding part of the job - the implementation of scholarship programmes. I completed the Loughborough MBA in 2016 and have a Masters in Philosophy. I’m currently involved in a number of African-based projects outside of work, mostly centred around providing access to basic education for girls and orphaned children. As a Trustee of Falcon Support Services, I would like to use my energy and skillset for a project closer to home which benefits both the individual users of the service as well as the wider society affected by the issues surrounding homelessness Jason King - Trustee Member I have worked in housing and homelessness services since leaving University in 2009. I started my career as a Housing Advisor, providing free independent advice and assistance to a range of clients in housing need. From there I progressed into various Management roles working across homelessness, housing management and delivering specialist projects. I currently work for a Local Authority as Assistant Director for Housing. Within my portfolio, I oversee the following housing functions, Homelessness, Allocations, Private Sector Housing, Housing Management, Property Services and the Housing Repairs Team. As a Trustee at Falcon Support Services, I am committed to supporting the organisations principals. Ensuring that my field experience can be used to produce strong outcomes for service users, together with ensuring the effective and efficient running of the organisation.
