David moved into our emergency accommodation he had learning disabilities which made him vulnerable to financial and physical abuse. David became homeless due to a breakdown in relationship with his partner which resulted in David being asked to leave the house. David struggled with his alcohol intake before he moved in, but this continued throughout his stay, this resulted in him receiving a number of support interventions and a referral was sent over to a specialised support service that works with addiction with the agreement that David would get in touch for additional support.

After endlessly working on David’s living skills and the understanding of independent living he was moved into one of our move on properties, where the clients continue to receive one to one support. With support he gained contact with his ex-partner and arranged to retrieve his tools and belongings to enable him to get back into work. After being in the service for seven months David was moved into his own property back in his local area and hopes to rekindle the lost relationships.
