It gives me immense pleasure to introduce myself and fellow trustees of Falcon Support Services to you all.
Trustees have a legal and moral duty to ensure that the charity operates in a responsible and productive manner and is viable and sustainable for the future. We meet for Board meetings approximately every six weeks, work to an agreed agenda and minute all of our meetings so that we can monitor how well the charity is doing.
We are all non-paid volunteers and give our time and contribute our varying expertise in ensuring that the charity runs smoothly and efficiently in delivering all of its services to the people who access them and who are at the very heart of everything we do.
The trustees come from a variety of professional backgrounds including business, finance, health and homelessness services and between us are able to share our knowledge and skills and support senior management in operating as a small efficient business whilst remaining true to the charity’s vision and values.
If you would like to know more about the roles and responsibilities of trustees please do not hesitate to contact Alison Moss via the Falcon Centre 27-31 Pinfold Gate, Loughborough, LE11 1BE, who is administrator to the Board of Trustees.
