We are delighted to announce we have received an Awards for All Big Lottery grant of £9,114 to create a Service User Action Group for Falcon Support Services.

The group is made up of Resident Representatives from all of Falcon Support Services projects and forms a consultation board for the charity’s future developments, manages their own budget creating positive activities for service users, and assists in the running of the buildings including health and safety checks.

Rachel Hall, Head of Service Development said “This group is part of the charities wider strategy and vision of moving towards co-production, where professionals and service users share the power to design, plan, assess and deliver support together. It is a fantastic opportunity for residents to take ownership and become involved in developing the charity. They will gain experience in relation to organisational skills, leadership, and training in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and Fire Awareness. We would like to recognise and thank the National Lottery players, as without them this project would not have been possible.”
